Soy candles are often considered better for several reasons:

1. Environmentally Friendly: Soy candles are made from soybeans, a renewable resource grown by farmers. In contrast, paraffin candles are made from petroleum, a non-renewable resource that contributes to carbon emissions and environmental degradation during extraction and processing.

2. Cleaner Burning: Soy candles burn cleaner than paraffin candles, emitting fewer toxins and pollutants into the air. Paraffin candles can release harmful chemicals such as benzene and toluene when burned, which may pose health risks, especially in poorly ventilated spaces.

3. Longer Lasting: Soy candles typically burn slower and cooler than paraffin candles, resulting in a longer-lasting candle. This means you can enjoy the fragrance and ambiance of a soy candle for a longer period before needing to replace it.

4. Biodegradable: Soy wax is biodegradable, meaning it breaks down naturally without harming the environment. In contrast, paraffin wax is not biodegradable and can contribute to landfill waste.

5. Support for Farmers: Choosing soy candles supports farmers who grow soybeans, often contributing to local economies and sustainable agriculture practices.

6. Better Scent Throw: Soy wax has a better scent throw compared to paraffin wax, meaning it holds and releases fragrance more effectively. This results in a more pleasant and consistent aroma throughout the candle's lifespan.

7. Affordable, Fun, and Thoughtful Gift: Soy candle provides a luxurious and eco-friendly sensory experience, offering a delightful fragrance and ambiance while also supporting sustainable practices and demonstrating care for both the recipient and the environment.

Overall, soy candles offer a more eco-friendly, healthier, and longer-lasting alternative to traditional paraffin candles, making them a popular choice for environmentally conscious consumers.

🕯️ How to Use Your Soy Candle:

1. Preparation: Find a flat, stable surface to place your candle. Ensure it is away from drafts, flammable objects, and out of reach of pets and children.

2. First Burn: Light your candle and let it burn for at least 2-3 hours or until the wax melts evenly across the entire surface. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures a clean, even burn in future uses.

3. Setting Your Intention: As you light your candle, take a moment to set a positive intention for the time ahead. Whether it's a goal, affirmation, or a simple moment of mindfulness, the energy you bring will infuse the space and enhance the experience.

4. Safety Precautions: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from flammable materials, children, and pets. Ensure the candle is fully extinguished before leaving the room or going to bed.

5. Enjoy: Sit back, relax, and enjoy the soothing ambiance and delightful fragrance of your soy candle as it fills your space with warmth and tranquility.

🔥 To Prevent Fire and Serious Injury:

1. Never Leave the Candle Unattended: Always keep a burning candle within sight. Never leave it unattended, especially around children, pets, or flammable materials.

2. Keep Away from Flammable Objects: Ensure your candle is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface and keep it away from curtains, bedding, books, papers, or any other flammable objects.

3. Burn in an Open Area: Burn candles in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts, air vents, ceiling fans, or any air currents that could cause uneven burning or flare-ups.

4. Keep Away from Children and Pets: Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets. Ensure candles are placed in secure holders and cannot be easily knocked over.

5. Use a Candle Snuffer: Extinguish candles using a candle snuffer to prevent hot wax from splattering. Never use water to extinguish a candle, as it can cause flare-ups or glass breakage.

6. Discontinue Use: Stop using your candle when only 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom. Continuing to burn a candle with a low wax level can cause the container to overheat and crack.

7. Store Candles Safely: Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Avoid storing candles in extreme temperatures, as it can affect their quality and safety.

Remember, practicing proper candle safety ensures a peaceful and enjoyable experience with your soy candle. Stay safe and enjoy the warm ambiance and delightful fragrance responsibly.
